Jeff and I recently became motivated to keep illustrated journals. These are my pages from the past couple days...



I work doggy daycare every Weds and these are some quick sketches of a few of the dogs. Cherry is my youngest Belgian Sheepdog and the rest are daycare dogs. Frisco & Amara are Goldens, William is a baby Husky and Gabby is a Welsh Terrier that Jeff happens to be doing a pastel portrait of. This was my first time using watercolor pencils.

This is my latest work - a prismacolor drawing of a Border Collie named "Storm". Storm used to come to daycare every day when I was working at doggy daycare every day. She had little interest in playing with the dogs but loved to chase cars at the fence line and play ball. I taught her to do many tricks - which she often wouldn't do for her people, to play agility and to use the flyball box.

This drawing is done from a picture I took of her several years ago.
